Over the next few days there will be posts of pictures taken at Harmon Field in 1939 by Hansel Mieth, a Life Magazine photographer. Don't know if any made the magazine. They were taken around the Horse and Dog show, plus a bar-b-que which a lot of the town participated in. There will be a couple of pictures on downtown Tryon.
