THE REUNION HAS BEEN CANCELLED:

It's Paula this time. I am writing to let you know that we will need to cancel the reunion this year. It's still hard for me to believe but Keith had a heart attack while working on a project at a power plant here in Florence, SC! He was having chests pains the night before he went to the emergency room. He was thinking about driving back to Knoxville which is a 6 hr. drive instead!! We are so thankful that a coworker encouraged him to go get it checked out. He had emergency triple bypass surgery shortly after arriving at the hospital. He is doing well but developed a little irregular heartbeat today so we will be staying a few more days. I understand that we will have a long road to recovery but Keith is strong and will work hard to regain his strength. And if he doesn't I will make him! The rehab will be helpful I hear. Please forward this to all of our THS friends and know that we will miss seeing everyone this year. Keith suggested that you all might want to go to a restaurant in the area this time. He is so disappointed that things can't go as we planned but we are learning that we are not always in control!! That's a hard lesson for all of us!
